Flatliner 5K Road Race Series Wednesday's in April 6:15pm starts Chestnut Ridge Park, Newton Rd. entrance April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th(rain date)
The Flatliner is a USATF certified 5K road running race series that pits you against the clock on a hilly and challenging paved road course inside Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park. Closed to traffic, this spring series is a great tune-up for testing your fitness. Clear course markings and a picturesque setting draws runners that attempt to best their time weekly.The course starts and finishes at the yellow gate near the lower loop of the Park. Known for the Mother climb the lower section of Chestnut Ridge features remote, hilly paved park roads. The Flatliner course uses the inside loop of and does not include the Mother climb. A true test for hill climbing and descending in a remote and serene setting.Enter one or as many Flatliners as you like. Weekly registration is always welcome on-site. Complete all four events and automatically qualify for Series awards. Individual race awards are not issued. To register for the entire series sign up at the link above or just come down on race-days to register on-site for individual races. Weekly registration opens at 5:30pm at the yellow gate. Races start promptly at 6:15pm. Cash or check welcome. $20 per race entry fee. Weekly give-a-ways, plenty of free parking and family friendly. Pets are not permitted in the race.Restrooms are available at the upper Casino building. The Park's lower restrooms typically open around Memorial Day.Weather: Stay tuned to this page or our social media pages if we need to cancel a race due to weather.
