Get those snowshoes ready! The 2019 Jackrabbit Snowshoe Race Series lands at Kissing Bridge North area in Glenwood promising heart pounding snow-packed racing action on Monday nights. On a weekly basis entrants can compete on the short (usually 1-mile/lap) or long (2-mile) courses. Courses are typically hardpack groomed with resort equipment and utilize the base area near the North Lodge featuring a few short climbs & descents. Snow conditions determine the courses and there could be powder nights as well. Entrants do not summit the mountain but the courses are not flat. Headlights encouraged since certain sections are darker than others however resort lights are on. Snowshoeing under the lights!!!

Races start at 6:45pm Monday evenings. Registration opens at 5:45pm. $15 per race. Rentals available by Gear for Adventure on-site during registration. Location is the North Ski Lodge at Kissing Bridge in Glenwood. Participant snacks, cash bar & door prizes after each race on a weekly basis. Individual race entry is welcome or you can sign up for the entire Series in advance and have your bib waiting for you plus get the 2019 race permium gift. Kissing Bridge is a snow haven during the cold months offering gooming, snowmakers and overhead lighting to prepare for each race. There might be pavement in your neighborhood but decent snow is a plenty at KB. It's a ski resort and snow is their business. Stay tuned for weekly updates to assure conditions. Weekly courses may be modified based on conditions. Our typical surface is groomed hardpack snow.

Awards to Overall M/F & masters for the series and top finishers based on fields that compete in at least four of the five events for each distance in the Series. If races are postponed or canceled qualification may be modified to the top times completed.
