Can't seem to win folks! Slush has reared its ugly head due to the ultra warm temps the past 12-hours taking a drastic turn for what we throught was a sure thing. Course is not suitable for skate or classic competition.
Hopefully see you at the Loppet next Sunday in Allegany and pray for snow/cold this week!

The 2016 Glenwood Cup XC Ski Race is scheduled for Sunday, January 24th at Sprague Brook Park-Glenwood, NY.
The circuit course sends two heats of skiers against the clock in Classic & Freestyle formats in the following distances:
6K $20 & 12K $25 Classic (2 or 4-laps)
12K Freestyle $25 (4-laps)
Enter in both events for $35 qualifying the fastest skier for winning the Glenwood Cup!
Get ready for some amazing door prizes from our wonderful sponsors! Timex watches, poles from Infinity & great Alpina Sports XC ski gear! All you have to do is be there!!!
Registration opens at 8am on race-day at the Sprague Brook Park XC ski lodge. Make a right upon entering the Park and follow signs to XC ski area. Cash or check only.
Awards to top five in each division plus great door prizes from our amazing sponsors. Registration and start/finish takes place at the XC warming hut inside Sprague Brook Park from 8am. Races start at 9am for Classic, 10:30am for Freestyle or sooner if any dual participants finish early.
Stay tuned to this site or by checking with Sprague Brook Park for conditions. There is usually plenty of snow since the course is continuously packed and rolled for skiing throughout the season.
The Glenwood Cup continues to help support Heart Animal Shelters of Western New York.
