November is going to go down in history-AGAIN!
We are proud to partner with CITP and bring you
THE DOMINATOR- is a cross country/steeple chase inspired running race held completely within the taped course utilized by the cyclists during Cross in the Park Cyclocross Races(bike races held earlier in the day). The course consists of a completely enclosed taped off route between trees, off camber sections, hardpack gravel pathways, grass, short barriers and stone staircase run-ups) that varies from roughly 10-20' wide for the entire course ranging from 1.5-1.75 miles in length per lap. Short course is 1-lap, long course is 2-laps. Choose your distance. All entrants are required to stay between the tape which may include many creative twists & turns. Runners start & finish at the stone arch near the Rose Garden in Delaware Park and compete in a single or double lap showdown for awards and prizes. Cool fall weather means we could see dry, wet, snow, leaves, wind or all of those great Western New York tricks making this a must-do for the hard-core runner in all of us. Walkers are welcome on the short course.
Participants are not permitted on the course until the gun goes off at 3:30pm-no exceptions(bicycle races will be on-going all morning and through the day).
Registration at the Monster Tent from 2:00pm. $15 pre-reg by deadline, $20 after.
Race day/walk up registration is welcome. Plenty of area paths, lake trails and roadways to warm up.
Get your team in the mix! Fastest Male, Female or Co-ed 3-person team
wins aBuffalo Dominator trophy. Individual performances still count towards awards for all team participants with the exception of the three winning teams. Get your teams together! Only requirement is you have to wear matching uniforms, be creative...
Awards to OA M/F plus three deep in 10-year age groups for each distance.
Rain, sun, snow or shine.
Spikes encouraged.

Cross in the Park has become a mainstay in Buffalo attracting hundreds and hundreds of entrants, spectators and families cheering, racing and spectating throughout the day. Food trucks, DJ entertainment and cheering crouds line the courses. Enjoy the day in one of Buffalo's jewels of a park system. Race-day registration welcome.
The Dominator will help support HEART Animal Shelters of WNY and the event expenses of CITP
