Series Scoring: Points will be awarded based on finish time. The winner of any given race (male and female) will be awarded 100 points. Finishers in that category will receive points based on a percentage time calculation. For example, if the winner finishes in 20:00 and you finish in 25:30, you will receive (20 minutes/25.5 minutes) x 100 = 78.43 points (points will be rounded to the nearest hundredth). This type of scoring emphasizes finish time over finish place, making close finishes less detrimental to series standings than scoring by place. Regardless of the order you place, the faster you run, the more points you receive. A runner's series score will be determined by adding the top four scores from individual races. Running more than 4 races will provide an opportunity to improve your score. Series awards to top male, female and masters plus three deep in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ M/F.
Course Map for the final three races The 2nd three DD's go like this: 1st half of the course is a bit of fields then then BAM! Single Track Trails to keep you on your toes all the way to the half way point, a bit of wide, rolling trials then the last 1/3-mile single track stretch welcomes you to the climbing finish. Just follow the arrows and have a devilish time!
Can I enter in one, two or any events I just want to run if I feel good after work? Yes.
